Andy Glazer, the author of Casino Gambling the Smart Way, has rapidly emerged as one of America's leading poker and gaming writers. Called a "poker scholar" by Newsweek, his tournament coverage of the 1999 World Series of Poker and the 1999 Tournament of Champions for Card Player Magazine was considered by many to have taken poker tournament coverage to a new level.
He is currently working with 1989 World Series of Poker Champion Phil Hellmuth, Jr. on an autobiographical book about Hellmuth and the world of big-time poker, tentatively entitled Poker Brat. He writes a weekly gambling column for The Detroit Free Press, is a staff writer with Chance Magazine, and teaches gambling seminars nationally.
