Rich Wilens was born in Chicago in the '50s. Teenage years: Detroit in the '60s. Served in the U.S. Army Vietnam-era and went to many discos. Too many discos. San Francisco Bay Area (Santa Cruz, Aptos, Sacramento, San Francisco for the next 20 years and now resides in Scottsdale Arizona. Attended UCLA. The University of Chicago between Lawrence and Addison. Rich has also attended law school, Asu, Scc, Mcc, etc., etc. A professional Disc Jockey for 30 years part time. From Phoenix to San Francisco. Working his way through life as a car salesperson to general manager, lecturer, teacher, and AAA wrecker driver. He sold insurance, fire alarms, advertising, coupons. Wrote a couple of books on selling and now on playing Texas Hold 'Em Poker. He learned how to play poker in Military School. His father was a world class gin player. Played all over the world for big stakes Private games Rich's Grandfather had a couple of speakeasies in the '20s. A horse room in the thirties and forties. A couple of social clubs and a bar with a 6-table card room for the big boys. Rich was a partner in a 5 table card room in California. He has gamboling in his blood. Rich's famous quotes: "It's better to live rich than to die rich." "I made my money the old fashioned way. I inherited it." What this says about Rich?
