PokerPages WSOP $10K Main Event Warm-ups In Progress

By Al SPath

The news is spreading across the poker community that PokerPages.com has begun our WSOP $10K Warm-ups, giving away a seat in this year’s World Series of Poker. Don't delay, come on in and participate for a chance to compete in the Main Event.

The competition in the past has been fierce and we expect a great mix of players will take advantage of this promotion, as well as take advantage of the PokerSchool (which is now all FREE with this easy download). Players looking to improve their skills will love the new Courses of Study, the video library with 100's of hours to view at their leisure, and the audio section, which includes podcasts and top flight instruction from top pro's (including Barry Tanenbaum, Mike Caro, and Lou Kreiger).

Also qualify for a Women and a Seniors Championship, which will also award a WSOP seat to represent PokerPages. Play in the cardroom and compete for monthly sponsorship points, which can be utilized to enter live casino tournaments worldwide. You have many choices when competing; the multi-table tournament league, single-table tournament league, ring (cash game) league and more!

Hands on instruction (using Ventrilo - a free voice communicator) is available to participate with your cardroom instructor who conducts 12 to 15 live sessions per week, with sessions usually lasting two hours plus. They provide the members an opportunity to ask questions (at specially designed training tables that show cards at showdown), and hear what others are thinking about the way the hand was played, or could have been played. Time out buttons are only found at these "training" tables so the action can be halted and discussed for clarification and immediate learning. (These designated tables are unranked, nor in competition for sponsorship awards.) Honest discussions from participating members are always encouraged to foster player development and advancement. The interaction and immediate feedback gained from such a setting is not found anywhere on the internet.
