Home Poker changes from one table to the next, but the Order of Hands is indisputable. Knowing the order of hands is a big step towards understanding poker. You can follow a round of betting or learn a game by observation, but that isn't worth much until you understand what will happen when all players reveal their hands in the final showdown. Knowing it by heart comes with time. Some card decks come with an extra playing card which displays the order of hands - an ideal tool for beginners.
