2000 Tournament of Champions Photo Gallery

Hi this is Tina and at last I have been allowed to attended my first major poker tournament. I must say I was totally star struck meeting all these wonderful people and my transition into the tight knit world of the poker community went very smoothly and without any hitches.

I have to confess that I do not play poker but I am now totally hooked on the game and the characters that I met. What a wonderful bunch of people, not at all like I imagined the poker world would be. You see I was raised in England, not a place that you could openly admit an association with poker, somewhat frowned upon in those days. What a refreshing eye opener to see a large gathering of people with one mission in mind to win the TOC, nobody out of hand (not like an English football match). I know that now I definitely want to shout from the rooftops of our website to encourage more people to take part in this wonderful game and be part of taking Poker onto a level it truly deserves to be.
