Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri - Professional Poker Player - Al Barbieri started playing tournament poker in 1998. John Bonetti tutored him well enough that in three years Al played on the tournament poker circuit, he won several tournaments, like events at the Legends of Poker and the Orleans Open. He finished in the money at the Four Queens, the World Series of Poker, and in almost every other tournament he played. Also won the Best All-Around Player award at the Winnin' o' the Green in 1999.

Once dreamed of being a professional baseball player something that happened in 2003 for the Camden Riversharks and what gave him his nickname; "Sugar Bear" but now has a new dream and that is one day win a World Series of Poker Bracelet.
