San Diego, CA
Now Resides:

Marital Status: Not yet...
Children: see marital status

Started playing poker: 5-6 years ago, during law school
Favorite poker game: Texas Hold'em
Ambition: To retire before I'm 45, so that I can spend my time traveling the world, reading, writing books and screen plays, and of course, playing poker (hopefully someday in the WSOP).

Hobbies: Reading, watching and collecting great movies (okay, maybe some not so great), football, and of course, playing poker.

Favorite Movie:
Rounders, A Few Good Men, The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Braveheart, Caddyshack, oh, I could go on...

Favorite Music:
Rock, punk, alternative, 80's

Favorite Place in the world: Vegas, baby, Vegas!!

Favorite Celebrity:
classic - Harrison Ford (played Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan, & Dr. Richard Kimble, he da man!) or up and comer - Ed Norton (played Worm in Rounders and dates Salma Hayek, he da man!)

Major Poker Accomplishments:
I took 3rd place at a 90+ person Limit Hold'em Tournament at Sycuan Casino, my first time playing there.

During law school, along with a couple friends, we managed to organize a 15-25 person Texas Hold'em Tournament (with re-buys, add-ons, and bounties) every semester, and have since expanded it to hopefully an annual event in Vegas called "The Mayhem Inc. Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament."

Most respected poker players:
I really like the calculated styles of guys like Howard Lederer and Andy Bloch, but at the same time I love the agressive play and reading abilities of guys like Phil Ivey, Layne Flack, Phil Helmuth, and Gus Hansen, and I have to give props to the consummate pros like Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson, T.J. Cloutier, and Amarillo Slim. But right now (I've been watching it on ESPN) and beyond just winning the 2003 WSOP, I really respect how Chris Moneymaker handled himself against all the pros while working his way through it (especially the showdown with his hero Johnny Chan on day 2 or 3).

If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?
The grass would never be greener on the other side. And everyone would realize that John Madden is NOT a brilliant sports caster!

If you could change anything in the poker world, what would it be?
No one would fold when they could check; No one would fold out of turn; and No one would fold when I had the nuts!!
