In London, there are about 26 poker clubs which might be in violation of British gambling law as a result of a Crown Court jury decision (R. v. Derek Kelly (Gutshot), T20060579) on January 16, 2007.Derek Kelly was prosecuted under the Gaming Act of 1968 which had barely mentioned card games. After a couple of hands, the dealer announced, "Rebuy at any time, but the add-on is only at the completion of the third level." I laughed out loud and threw the mischievous dealer a wink, saying something along the lines of, "Rebuy! Ha ha! Good one!" The dealer kept a straight face and replied, "No, really.
