Today we have the first 7-Card Stud event. With a $1500 buyin we are likely to see another record field.....

It might even include me!! See the WSOP 7-card stud lifetime top 10 money list below. The WSOP all time 7 card stud stats below clearly show us that Artie Cobb is the best Stud player on the planet. With 8 money finishes he is only matched by Mel Judah who also has 8 money finishes but is some $50,000 behind Artie. That lead could easily change today with the expected record field and prize money. Men "The Master" Nguyen is not too far behind in 4th place with 6 cashes and around $150, 000 to make up if he wants to take the lead. Men would have started later than both Mel and Artie so Men might arguably be the best 7 card stud player in the world today.
Ted Forrest is back in 9th place and over $300,000 behind. I dont expect a win for Ted today will get him into the lead but he is my favorite for this event #8.
