In good form, lets see if he can win his 1st bracelet. Minh Nguyen has made 112 money finshes and has an overal prize money total of $1,054,969. Another player on the final table that has already made another final in this years WSOP event #5 Limit Omaha hi/lo tourney.A big threat. Dr Mark Burtman has had 14 money finishes and an overal total prize money earnings of $96,010 to date. He will be looking for a WSOP win and a bracelet ------------------------------------------------------- 11:30 Phyllis Meyers is holding her own amongst the 50 men in her field. Im crossing my fingers, toes, legs, etc. hoping against hope she gets hit with the deck pretty soon. 10:42 After the last 15 minutes from poker hell, Mark has left in or around 60th. Hand after hand he had to bring it in. Hand after hand he had to fold. He finally made a stand with AK in the hole with the bring in of a 3s. His only opponent had JJ and nothing materialized AGAIN for Mark. Back to the grind...pull up the computer and go at it some more. 10:00 Mark has run into a few second best hands unfortunately. The kind that promise so much and give so little...you know 'em. I have all the faith he will find some of the premium hands after this break and find his way to the money. He is holding steady now with about 7K in chips. I stopped by to give him a little back massage and I swear his back is like rock. Could it be the 22 hours a day he is spending on the computer??? The 7 card stud group started with merely 473 (which would normally be huge). After 10 hours there are 72 or so left. The money starts to flow at 40. Phyllis Meyers is still hanging on as is Olivia Mandell. They are pretty easy to count down with 5K and 2K respectively. Hang on there gals... I took a short walk to try and find a bite to eat, something within my budget parameters...hahaha...came back empty handed. On the way down the "walk" I passed several players on their cells replaying the "bust out hands" to their loved ones. Chris Ferguson was in the hallway getting a little action from another source, his honeypie. He has about 12K in his stack and is in the middle of the pack. I got to visit with Dr. Mark Burtman, writer for PokerPages.com. He seems to be having a good day and is enjoying his 7 Stud experience. The very handsome young Russian, Kiril Girasimov has a pretty nice stack going in after the break. I would say it looked like 25K or so. The action is on and Ill be keeping up with Mark until ......
