SOME WSOP ADVICEFri, 27 May 2005 00:10:05 -0500
and ppt odds/photos
I visited the Rio today.I have some advice for players, wear shorts and loose fitting top(especially Evelyn + Karina). The a/c was off .The WSOP room was a hothouse even without players.I asked was this Harrahs just being mean, especially to the crew erecting lighting and bringing in tables."No,a main burst. The guy coming to fix it missed his plane."They fly people to Vegas to fix a/c units or just to confirm that it had burst and give the go ahead to inform the insurance company? The English habit of wearing soccer shirts can be a life saver as the modern soccer shirts are great in the heat. I could almost touch the Mirage Events center from the Rio WSOP hall.I was informed they had 250 dealers.Media passes are not available until the 2nd. On Friday we have the, still media friendly, PPT final at the Mirage.A better line up than todays WPT in my opinion. Ted Forrest is the chip leader but might be a bit jaded after his long final table appearance in todays WPT. Cpt Tom Franklin is Jean Robert Bellande's backer and mentor. He plays a good game himself though and is only 40k being Ted at the start of play. ![]() Tom Franklin 597k in chips +225 ![]() Ted Forrest 637k +250 ![]() Best unsigned pro?Levi 194k +700 ![]() Blurred Rodman 141k +1000 ![]() Randy Jensen 106k +1400 ![]() chris tsiprailidis, not in pic,82k +2000
