Daily Winners Photo gallery and photo of the day....

pic of the day
Vegas baby

If you would like to see your photo in the PokerPages Photo Gallery, then just look out for me and ask me to take your photo - It will be my pleasure, and will give you something to show all your friends and family

I am sitting around my apt listening to "Crystal Days" by the Bunnymen. It is a
4 cd set so quite a time consuming thing. No final table today so I can arrive
at the Rio late.On arrival I have to walk past the lobster tank.Ninety per cent
of the lobsters have accepted their fate but there is always a couple of lobsters,
claws taped together, trying to either dig their way out of the tank or hide themselves in the gravel.

If Felicia Lee was a lobster she would be one of the latter minority.Only two
weeks ago she had her breasts removed and she starts chemo July 1st.Here she
is at the Rio asking the pros to call Charlie, the blogger with cancer, not even
informing them of her own fight.Having people like you and the Tao in this
world helps me.I take my hat off to Barry Greenstein,John Juanda and Marcel Luske for their compassion.

The other side of the coin are the players spending $900 on a bottle of champagne in the Voodoo Lounge or $500 on a hooker.

After passing the lobsters I finally enter the room. The first thing I see are the
Scandanavian media sitting at their computers relaying the information that is
being spoken into their headsets.24 hours a day, they never enter the Full Tilt
Suite, never go to the bathroom, never look tired.

Cyndy Violette came to visit me during the dinner break. She cosied up and looked
at the photos I have taken of her.Needless to say I put another 3 on the gallery
after the dinner break.Cyndy has brought her daughter with her this year and her
own chef. She only eats organic vegetarian food.It seems to be paying off.

Any comments/requests email me satiricalblog@gmail.com (No I don't need any

I have started reading the "Tao of Poker". He is in my adopted hometown so I can relate to the frustrations of moving around without a car.(Hint: Try the free shuttle from the Orleans to the Gold Coast) Also he has seen roaches the size of Paris Hiltons dog(I tried to stomp on one last night and injured my knee, the roach escaped)

The saving grace of the WSOP has been the Full Tilt Suite.Free chips + salsa(currently my favourite food)cheese, cantelope and even chocolate bars.Plus the chance to see the beautiful Sky perhaps the only non Asian girl I drool over.Well bad news. The sign has gone, the suite is empty.
Have they moved to a secret location just to keep Amy + myself away?

I will follow the players out on dinner break tomorrow to investigate this setback to our daily routine.
I am starting to hear rumours of parties in the coming weeks.I hope the invites arrive in the media room. We are in need of some relaxation. Nothing relaxing about my Manic Monday.I will have two final tables to photograph plus tomorrows tournament, whatever that may be.I enjoy wandering around with my camera and will try to keep the photos interesting. We don't want to see Peter Costa at the table every day for 6 weeks. Even Peter doesn't want that.

The Tao of Poker wants me to introduce him to Liz Lieu. She only talks to me because she thinks I am Jeff Shulman and can give her a cover in CP. So no none of my friends can meet Liz in case she finds out the truth. And here I am with Liz.I think I am trying to stop Evelyn from informing her what a loser I am!
