Daily Winners Photo gallery and photo of the day....
![]() Vegas baby If you would like to see your photo in the PokerPages Photo Gallery, then just look out for me and ask me to take your photo - It will be my pleasure, and will give you something to show all your friends and family I am sitting around my apt listening to "Crystal Days" by the Bunnymen. It is a 4 cd set so quite a time consuming thing. No final table today so I can arrive at the Rio late.On arrival I have to walk past the lobster tank.Ninety per cent of the lobsters have accepted their fate but there is always a couple of lobsters, claws taped together, trying to either dig their way out of the tank or hide themselves in the gravel. If Felicia Lee was a lobster she would be one of the latter minority.Only two weeks ago she had her breasts removed and she starts chemo July 1st.Here she is at the Rio asking the pros to call Charlie, the blogger with cancer, not even informing them of her own fight.Having people like you and the Tao in this world helps me.I take my hat off to Barry Greenstein,John Juanda and Marcel Luske for their compassion. The other side of the coin are the players spending $900 on a bottle of champagne in the Voodoo Lounge or $500 on a hooker. After passing the lobsters I finally enter the room. The first thing I see are the Scandanavian media sitting at their computers relaying the information that is being spoken into their headsets.24 hours a day, they never enter the Full Tilt Suite, never go to the bathroom, never look tired. Cyndy Violette came to visit me during the dinner break. She cosied up and looked at the photos I have taken of her.Needless to say I put another 3 on the gallery after the dinner break.Cyndy has brought her daughter with her this year and her own chef. She only eats organic vegetarian food.It seems to be paying off. Any comments/requests email me satiricalblog@gmail.com (No I don't need any Viagra) a I have started reading the "Tao of Poker". He is in my adopted hometown so I can relate to the frustrations of moving around without a car.(Hint: Try the free shuttle from the Orleans to the Gold Coast) Also he has seen roaches the size of Paris Hiltons dog(I tried to stomp on one last night and injured my knee, the roach escaped) The saving grace of the WSOP has been the Full Tilt Suite.Free chips + salsa(currently my favourite food)cheese, cantelope and even chocolate bars.Plus the chance to see the beautiful Sky perhaps the only non Asian girl I drool over.Well bad news. The sign has gone, the suite is empty. Have they moved to a secret location just to keep Amy + myself away? I will follow the players out on dinner break tomorrow to investigate this setback to our daily routine. I am starting to hear rumours of parties in the coming weeks.I hope the invites arrive in the media room. We are in need of some relaxation. Nothing relaxing about my Manic Monday.I will have two final tables to photograph plus tomorrows tournament, whatever that may be.I enjoy wandering around with my camera and will try to keep the photos interesting. We don't want to see Peter Costa at the table every day for 6 weeks. Even Peter doesn't want that. The Tao of Poker wants me to introduce him to Liz Lieu. She only talks to me because she thinks I am Jeff Shulman and can give her a cover in CP. So no none of my friends can meet Liz in case she finds out the truth. And here I am with Liz.I think I am trying to stop Evelyn from informing her what a loser I am! ![]() Liz,Me + Evy WSOP 2005 Gallery of Winners.................... ![]() Barry Greenstein Event # 19 Event # 19 - $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Entries 291 PrizePool $423,405 WinnerBarry Greenstein (Rancho Palo Verde, CA, USA) $128,505 ![]() Denis Ethier Event # 18 Event # 18 - $2,000 Limit 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo Entries 279 PrizePool $513, 360 Winner Denis Eithier (Durham, NC, USA) $160,682 ![]() Quinn Do Event # 17 Event # 17 - $2,500 Limit Hold'em Entries 373 PrizePool $857,900 Winner Quinn Do (Seattle, WA, USA) $265,975 ![]() Anthony Reategui Event # 16 Event # 16 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Shootout$ Entries 780 PrizePool $ 1,076,400 Winner Anthony Reategui (Chandler, AZ, USA) $ 269,100 ![]() Mark Seif Event # 15 Event # 15 - $1,500 Limit Hold'em Shootout Entries 450 PrizePool $621,000 WinnerMark Seif (Incline Village, NV, USA) $181,330 ![]() Steve Hohn Event # 14 Event # 14 - $1,000 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo Entries 595 PrizePool $541,450 WinnerSteve Hohn (Overland Park, KS, USA) $156,985 ![]() TJ Cloutier Event # 13 Event # 13 - $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Entries 466 PrizePool $2,190,200 Winner TJ Cloutier (Richardson, TX, USA) $657,100 ![]() Josh Arieh Event # 12 Event # 12 - $ 2,000 Pot Limit Omaha Entries 212 PrizePool $1,180,080 Winner Josh Arieh (Atlanta, GA, USA) $381,600 ![]() Edward Moncado Event # 11 Event # 11 - $2,000 Pot Limit Hold'em Entries 540 PrizePool $993,600 Winner Edward Moncada (Oakland, CA, USA) $298,070 ![]() Reza Payvar Event # 10 Event # 10 - $2000 Limit Hold'em Entries 569 PrizePool $1,046,940 Winner Reza Payvar (Tarzana, CA, USA) $303,610 ![]() Erik Seidel Event # 9 Event # 9 - $2000 No Limit Hold'em Entries 1403 PrizePool $2,581,520 WinnerErik Seidel (Las Vegas, NV, USA) $611,795 ![]() Cliff Josephy Event # 8 Event # 8 - $1,500 Limit 7 Card Stud Entries 472 PrizePool $651,360 Winner Cliff Josephy (NY, USA) $ 192,560 ![]() Michael Gracz Event # 7 Event # 7 - $1,000 No Limit Hold'em Entrants 826 (1495 Rebuys) PrizePool $2,201,630 Winner Michael Gracz (Poland) $594,460 ![]() Isaac Galazan Event # 6 Event # 6 - $2,500 No Limit Hold'em Entries 548 PrizePool $1,260,400 Winner Isaac Galazan (USA) $315,125 ![]() Pat Poels Event # 5 Event # 5 - $1,500 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Entries 699 PrizePool $964,620 Winner Pat Poels (Phoenix, AZ, USA) $ 270,100 ![]() Eric Froehilch Event # 4 Event # 4 - $1,500 Limit Hold'em Entries 1049 PrizePool $1,447,620 Winner Eric Froehlich (Los Angeles, CA, USA) $361,910 ![]() Thom Werthmann Event # 3 Event # 3 - $1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em Entries 1071 PrizePool $1, 477, 980 Winner Thom Werthmann (Bloomfield Hills, MI, USA) $369,535 ![]() Allen Cunningham Event # 2 Event # 2 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Entries 2305 PrizePool $3,180,900 Winner Allen Cunningham (Ventura, CA, USA) $ 725,405 Event # 1 WSOP Employee Event - No Limit Hold'em $500 ![]() Andy Nyugen Event # 1 Entries 662 PrizePool $297,900 Winner Andy Nguyen (Las Vegas, NV, USA) $83,390
