Description
Casino Bregenz offers a full range of international games, a first-class restaurant with the Dinner & Casino package and plenty of entertainment in a unique cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Apart from the traditional games, there is the Jackpot Corner with its slot machines, soon to be supplemented by specially adapted roulette and blackjack tables. In June 2002, the Jackpot Corner will be reopened with its new look and a larger choice of games.

Art and culture
The casino has close links with two of the festivals that take place in Bregenz. The Bregenzer Frühling, an international dance and ballet festival, was initiated by Casino Bregenz, and the world-famous Bregenzer Festspiele has been sponsored by it for many years. The Kunsthaus designed by Peter Zumthor has also become a landmark of the city. In addition, Bregenz has two regional theatres, Theater für Vorarlberg and Theater Kosmos.

Architecture
The casino complex consists of individual pavilions combining elements of the rural landscape, lake, parks and festival buildings. This idea continues indoors, with water, lakeside flora and fauna, wind and clouds as the main themes. The different materials help to enhance this effect.

One of the main eye-catchers is the fountain at the entrance to the stairway leading up to the gaming area designed by sculptor Hans Muhr.

Seven artists — Arik Brauer, Manfred Welte, Erich Fröschl, Rudolf Gschnitzer, Carlo Nason, Georg Egger Pertisau, Edelbert Köb and Helmut Margreiter—contributed to the three-dimensional gardens running down from the casino to the lake.
