THE POKER ROOM In May of 2004, we opened our Poker Room with the goal of creating and maintaining the Best Place to Play Poker on the Island (in the Caribbean!) – where Players can enjoy the best poker experience possible to compliment their great island vacation. We have US Standardized Rules and we’ll spread anything anytime: all games (Texas Hold’em, Stud, Omaha…) & all limits: 4-8, 6-12, 10-20, 15-30, 20-40 & Up (No Limit, Pot Limit,). You are on vacation, but we’re not – we have the fastest (equipped with auto-shufflers as well) and friendliest Poker Dealers on the island! HOURS of OPERATION 7pm - 6am; however, on days of the tournaments we open early at those specific times. Also, we will open early at any time with just a day notice (i.e. early afternoon on a rainy forecasted day) or any other special event (i.e. during the World Poker Event last year and this year the last week of September concluding on October 1 we were open 24 HOURS and expanded the room to 15 tables). Tournaments Every Sunday at 3:30pm, we have a very nice No Limit Texas Hold’em Tournament (see details in the Room for the current tournament we are running). And, every Saturday we offer an exciting $10 Tourney. Also, we’ve been known to run a fantastic Free-Roll tournament, and our most popular tournament is our $4,000 Prize Pool Guarantee ($2,000 First Place, only $60 to enter!). Last year around Christmas time, we held the first annual World Cup of Poker (which started as a $25,000 Guarantee and ended up with over a $30,000 Prize Pool). Finally, during September 23 – October 3, the Radisson Resort will be holding the World Poker Tour/UltimateBet Tournament Event, as seen on the Travel Channel! Phil Hellmuth, Chris Moneymaker, and many more Pros participate in the WPT Event and/or play “live action” in the Poker Room. Poker 101 Classes Get Your Bachelor’s & Move On to Your Master’s. Every Tuesday & Thursday night, bring your friends, children (of poker age that is), and/or spouses to learn the rules and how to play Texas Hold’em Poker (and/or get a refresher course for yourself). After an hour of lessons, play live action 4-8 Texas Hold’em – receive $50 in Poker Chips for $30 cash – for this promotion see complete rules in the Poker Room.
