Ciaran O'Leary
Ciaran "Big C" O'Leary, born and raised in Ireland, came to the United States in 1997. He started playing poker when he was 8 years old and could often be found playing the with lads twice his age, the reason being was that they had more money. His first game of poker in the States was in Boston the day he arrived, when he turned $1,000 in to $3,000 in under two hours. He left $500 with the bartender to buy the other players drinks and pizza, going from being the villain to hero in under two minutes. He then took Amtrak to San Francisco where he established himself in the Bay Area poker scene, winning over 30 tournaments, most of those at Lucky Chances. He has also won tournaments in Colorado, Washington, and Nevada.
