John Cernuto

One could say that John Cernuto might have a sizeable advantage against his opponents. Before he became a professional poker player, John work as an air traffic controller at Miami Dade International Airport. In short, he learned to deal with the ups-and-downs that occur in poker before he ever sat down at the table.

After his career as a traffic controller ended in 1981, John decided to turn his hobby of poker into a career. Things started out slow, but eventually John started racking up the wins, mostly at Omaha Hi-Lo. He has since picked up more first place wins in that game than any other player.
