Born in South Dakota and grew up in Montana. Layne owned and operated card rooms throughout the state of Montana. He decided to take the Tournament World on. Usually he attends the major events and can often be found at the Final table. Has 6 World Series of Poker bracelets including the 2003 $2500 Omaha HiLo and $1,500 Hold'em Shootout. In 2002 he earned the nickname "Back to Back Flack" when he won the $2000 No Limit Hold'em and $1,500 No Limit. He also won the 1999 $3000 Pot Limit Holdem. He placed 3rd place in the $5,000 Omaha HiLo and had a 2nd place finish in the 1998 $2,000 No Limit Hold'em.

If I could change anything in the world: War and Hunger. In poker I wish I could redo 3 or 4 of the dark years I had in my career.
If I could change anything in the poker world: Unity. poker players work and play too hard to not have control of their industry. i.e some of the larger corporations control the poker universe.
