Tony Gregg

Anthony Gregg lists home as the state of Maryland, and he has been playing poker on a full-time basis since the age of 18. It was during high school that he became acquainted with the game through friends, and online poker helped hone his skills to the point of being able to play for a living. An ever-increasing bankroll was helped along by numerous online poker accomplishments, such as big finishes in events like the PokerStars Sunday Million in 2007 where third place brought him about $70K. With the support of family and friends, Gregg began to integrate into the live tournament scene as well, with his first cash happening at the Borgata Summer Poker Open in Atlantic City during the Championship event. But in 2009, he traveled to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas and played in the Main Event, a seat he won using Frequent Player Points from PokerStars. He translated that into a second place finish in that tournament, which was worth a $1.7 million payday. Since then, Gregg was able to add two more cashes to his live resume, one in the 2009 World Series of Poker in Vegas and another in the Borgata Poker Open later that year. However, it is online that Gregg finds the majority of his success, and he continues to play regularly as one of the forces of the business.
