Lucy Rokach

Born in Egypt, Lucy Rokach now lives in Stoke on Trent, United Kingdom, and is respectfully regarded as one of the best poker players in Eurpoe. She has commentated on the popular British series Late Night Poker, finishing 3rd in the series' 6th season. Before becoming a poker pro, Rokach was a history teacher. She started playing at the age of 38 and hit a streak of bad luck, losing everything in just a few months. Undaunted, Lucy viewed this as a challenge and re-mortgaged her house, borrowed money, and kept playing. A rocky start for a player with over $1 million in tournament wins, and whom Barry Greenstein has called the "best female poker player in the world."
