Paul Phillips

Paul Phillips was earning big paydays long before starting his career as a professional poker player. In the poker world he's sometimes called "dot com," so named for his business success during the tech boom of the late nineties. Not one to mince words, Phillips has been at times a contraversial player. He was not allowed to play in the World Series of Poker in the early 2000s due to comments he made about the way the prize pool was split between players and employees. A family man, Paul has lessened his time on the felt to spend time with his wife and daughter. In addition to playing poker, Paul Phillips also plays tournament Scrabble, and frequently posts on internet message boards.
