Tom McEvoy

Tom McEvoy has been a gracious fixture on the poker circuit since 1979. Well-known for his dedication to the respect of the game he's made a living at for almost three decades, McEvoy was an accountant until he turned pro. He has written countless books on the subject along with co-authors of the highest calibur: T.J. Cloutier, Max Stern, Linda Johnson, et al.

McEvoy proved his clout by winning the main event of the World Series of Poker in 1983, just six days after winning his first bracelet. He has 37 career in-the-money WSOP finishes, 18 career WSOP final table appearances and now over 4 WSOP Bracelets.
