Aaron Kanter

Aaron Kanter has made the final table in the WSOP Main Event 2005. That's a spectacular achievement considering every player at the final table is guaranteed a million dollar prize. The grand prize is $7.5 million. He was named "The Giant Killer" at the event as he eliminated big players, such as Phil Ivey and Greg Raymer.

No stranger to the game of poker, Kanter is a professional online poker player and as the past WSOP champions in 2004 and 2003 had done, Aaron earned his seat in an online poker tournament. The theory behind his stunning success is his family history in the study of both math and science. But he also studies the game through reading and videos. Poker tournaments of this size may have a huge luck factor, but any player that comes this far is guaranteed to be a student of the game. This is Aaron's fifth live tournament and his second instance of being in the money at a live tourney.
