A dual citizen of France and the United States, Vanessa Rousso is a professional poker player currently studying law at the University of Miami.

It was during her first summer break from law school that Vanessa first became serious about poker. In just her first year of play she has multiple cashes in major tournaments, including a seventh-place finish in the $25,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Championship and a win at the $5,000 buy-in Borgata Open. In 2007, she has continued to succeed, placing 2nd in the prestigious $2500 buy-in online Pokerstars WCOOP Main Event for over $700,000.
