I started playing poker when I was 22 at private games at my dad's house. I can remember how terrible I was during the first few months, thinking there were kickers on straights. I decided I really wanted to get good at this game.

I started reading books, taking notes from these books then implementing what I would learn into my game. I began on PokerStars last October with a $5.50 free roll. I am still playing with that $5.50, after cashing out twice. My friends are all very dedicated poker players. I've learned a lot just by watching them. Also, there is always something to learn with every hand of poker. Even if I am not in a hand, I am always asking questions and analyzing what is going on. I've learned a lot just by watching poker on t.v., playing online and in person, and especially from reading books.
