Brian '$tinger 88' Hastings Crushes Cash Games for $250,000

Brian '$tinger 88' Hastings produced a master class in dominating high stakes cash games on Tuesday after blazing his way to a $250,000 profit on PokerStars.

Hastings faced off against numerous opponents at the $50/$100 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max tables but it did not affect his winning streak. Ilari 'Ilari_FIN' Sahamies, Benny 'toweliestar' Spindler, 'VietRussian' and 'socutiesf' all suffered at the hands of the Vancouver resident.

Hastings has now earned almost $400,000 on the world's largest poker site, PokerStars, during the last seven days. The young grinder had endured a difficult transition period following his relocation to Canada last month but those early woes now appear to be behind him.

Hastings' latest exploits have dug him out the whole he found himself in less than two weeks ago and he has now taken down over $500,000 at the nosebleed stakes this year.

Sahamies bounced back from the deficits posted against Hastings to book a substantial $167,000 profit in mid-week. The Finn had struggled recently following the huge heater he went on earlier this month. Fellow countryman Jens 'Jeans89' Kyllonen (+$96,000), 'micha3096' (+$74,000) and Rob 'Vaga_Lion' Akery (+$64,000) also enjoyed lucrative sessions on the virtual felt.

Well-known names were absent from the losing column on Tuesday with unknown alias 'VietRussian' (-$120,000) grabbing the dubious honor of being the biggest loser online.

Several other poker pros dropped five figure sums. 'Lance84' (-$74,000), 'gaboka1' (-$80,000), 'machado28' (-$70,000) and 'takechip' (-$56,000) all ended the evening in the red.
