Annie Duke to Run Marathon in Support of Ante Up for Africa TournamentWed, Apr 30th, 2008 @ 12:00am World poker champion Annie Duke will be running in The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on June 1st in San Diego, California in support of Ante Up For Africa, a No Limit Texas Hold'em tournament to be held at this year's World Series of Poker, created to raise public awareness and funds for Sudan-related charities. In 2007, Annie Duke and Don Cheadle hosted the first Ante Up For Africa event, garnering a significant amount of media attention. The Texas Hold'em tournament raised over $700,000 in support of humanitarian efforts in Darfur and attracted several Hollywood celebrities including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Kevin James, Jason Alexander, Cheryl Hines, Hank Azaria, Adam Sandler and Ray Romano.
