Full Tilt Online Poker Series VIII Starts Wednesday

Starting Wednesday, May 7, Full Tilt Poker will launch the eighth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series. With a total of 24 events on schedule and more than $10 million in guaranteed prize money, the latests FTOPS is shaping up to be the biggest yet.

In addition to the popular $2,500 buy-in two-day event and the $2 million guaranteed main event, Full Tilt will beef up FTOPS VIII with some special events. Three 'mystery' events are currently on the schedule and Full Tilt has only released that "unlike anything FTOPS has ever seen before.” Winners from events in FTOPS V, VI, VII, and VIII will be entered in the Tournament of Champions, where the winner will caputre a WSOP Main Event seat. Also available will be the Bouncebackability freeroll, which gives each of the FTOPS VIII bubble boys a shot at a main event seat.

Final tablers from each event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket, with each event winner snagging a FTOPs avatar and jersey.
