Ladbrokes Poker Freeroll Billionth Hand Awards $300K WSOP prizes

To celebrate the forthcoming milestone of Ladbrokes Poker's 1,000,000,000th hand and being the largest team of European players at this year's WSOP, Ladbrokes Poker will hold a Billionth Hand Freeroll which will award $300,000 of WSOP prizes.

Ladbrokes Poker says that he billionth hand will be dealt during June, and that the tournament will be held on the first Saturday that is at least 48 hours after the Billionth Hand is played.

Prizes to be awarded will include:

  • The top 20 finishers will get the chance to join Team Ladbrokes at the world's largest tournament by winning a $14,000 Ladbrokes WSOP Package
  • Two Hundred runners up will get a second chance to join Team Ladbrokes at this year's WSOP by winning $109 Ladbrokes WSOP Daily Final seats
  • To take part in this tournament, all players need to do is earn 50 Player Points (Cash games, MTT's or STT's) on the day the Billionth hand is dealt, and they will automatically be invited to enter this tournament.

    This promotion is limited to a maximum of 6,000 players which shall be treated as a first come first serve basis.

    ADDS $1 MILLION BONUS FOR REACHING FINAL TABLE

    Also, in response to Harrah's historic decision to delay the final table of the 2008 WSOP Main Event from July to November, Ladbrokes Poker announced that they will offer a revised bonus of up to a $1,000,000 sponsorship package to Team Ladbrokes players who reach the final table.

    Ladbrokes Poker Managing Director Edward Ihre commented: "Should any of the 100+ European Players we are taking to Vegas this year make it to the Final Table, not only will they receive a guaranteed $250,000 sponsorship package which will include $100,000 of buy-ins in the 117 days, they will also receive the full support of Team Ladbrokes throughout the period, including coaching from the stable of Ladbrokes Sponsored Players, which includes Jon "Skalie" Kalmar, who finished 5th in the Main Event in 2007 collecting $1,250,000."
