National Broadcast of 2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships Premieres

HeadsUp Entertainment today announced the launch of the television broadcasts of the 6 one-hour shows produced from the 2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships held in Calgary in March. The programs begin airing tonight on The Score Television Network across Canada and will continue over the next 6 weeks.

"We are very proud of quality of the shows," stated president and CEO Kelly B. Kellner, "as we are witness to some great poker and very entertaining table banter".

Tonight's show features 2005 World Series of Poker champion Joe Hachem in a quarter final match and the scene is set for the path to crown this years champ.

Each of the 6 one-hour programs will air 3 times a week on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm EDT, Thursdays at 8:00 pm EDT and Saturdays at 10:00 pm EDT.

The Company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc., has broadcast a series of tournaments over the past 2 years but this event has been able to attract world class sponsorship of the event and television productions to deliver a solid economic model for the production of this and future events.

The Company will be making a number of announcements over the next 2 weeks regarding a series of events across the country for the remainder of the year including more televised events.
