Poker Player Bernard Lee Celebrating One-Year on Rounders RadioMon, May 19th, 2008 @ 12:00am BOSTON, Mass. - Professional poker player, media personality and poker instructor Bernard Lee will celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Bernard Lee Poker Show on 1510 AM The Zone in Massachusetts with a slate of special guests throughout the month starting with May 6, the day the show premiers on Rounders Radio, the largest streaming poker radio station in the world. Lee, a Wayland resident, catapulted into the poker spotlight after he finished 13th in the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and became the top New England finisher. Lee has won more than $1.3 million and two titles on the tournament circuit, been named an instructor for the well-known World Poker Tour (WPT) Boot Camp, as well as become a poker commentator and poker columnist for the Boston Herald and ESPN.com. Lee will release in June his first book, The Final Table, Volume I, a compilation of his Sunday Boston Herald poker columns of the same name. The May 6 edition of The Bernard Lee Poker Show will kick off live at 6 p.m. and feature an interview with notable professional poker player J.C.Tran, a top tournament player who ranked second in Card Player's 2007 Player of the Year standings. Chris Moneymaker, who is celebrating his fifth anniversary of capturing his historic 2003 WSOP main event win, will be a guest on May 13. Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker personality with three WSOP bracelets and two WPT Championship titles will be the focus of a two-part interview beginning May 20. Starting with the May 6 show, The Bernard Lee Poker Show will be simulcast on Rounders Radio, www.roundersradio.com and be replayed at 3 p.m. Wednesdays EST. Rounders Radio is the largest online poker talk radio station in the world with listeners in more than 85 countries. Rounders Radio offers syndicated talk shows hosted by professional poker players, award-winning poker authors and journalists who provide top rate interviews, poker news, and strategies. "Bernard Lee is well-known in poker circles as a successful gentleman player with a cerebral approach to the game who can break things down for even the most casual player." The Bernard Lee Poker Show incorporates interviews with poker players and prominent industry personnel with questions from callers as well as poker news and tips. Previous guests include WSOP champions Joseph Hachem, Phil Hellmuth, Scott Clements, Bill Edler and Kirk Morrison, WPT commentator Mike Sexton, ESPN commentator Norman Chad and Harrah's Entertainment Director of Poker Operations Jack Effel. The Bernard Lee Poker Show airs live from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and is replayed at 9 p.m. Thursdays and 10 p.m. Saturdays EST on 1510 AM in New England and streaming online at www.1510thezone.com. Lee's most recent tournament finish was 2nd place this April in the WSOP $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Circuit Event at Caesars Indiana.
