UltimateBet's Online Poker Site Now in 14 New Languages

Popular online poker site UltimateBet has reached out to the international market by translating its website in 14 new languages, so more poker players can access information and promotions in their native tongue.

"The language of poker is universal," said UltimateBet spokesperson George MacLean in their press release. "We're thrilled to make our non-English speaking poker players feel more comfortable at our Texas Hold'em tables and we're excited to make it easier for new players around the world to connect with our poker community."

The new site is now available in Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French (Canadian), Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Czech', Japanese, Chinese and German.

MacLean notes that the multicultural makeup of the online poker community was particularly evident at the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic, UltimateBet's signature island-based poker tournament. With the 2008 tournament scheduled for September 27th, the timing of the multilingual site couldn't be better.
