'Dimetrik1' Leads PokerStars Twitter Poker League
In a fast-moving series of games this week in the Twitter Poker League the leaderboard took another tipsy turkey turn as the favorite online poker league for social networkers. This fun to play PokerStars league is seriously social with players plugging into the Twitter network to tweet their comments and feelings about the virtual baize action. The tpoker competition just keeps growing, with thousands of dollars in prizes up for grab throughout the season and plenty of Step Prizes on offer too to gain entry to other top poker tournaments.
A low buy in of just $1.10 to start with gives players old and new a great chance to make some money every week, and it’s worth remembering there $17,000 up for grand final prizes at the end of the year. And with Twitter Poker League being the top social networking game, there’s an end of year prize too for the Best Live Tweeter of the Year.
A fantastic showing from two Russian players this week, taking both first and second place on the Twitter Poker League leaderboard. Just out front was 'Dimetrik1' sitting on 27 points after playing two rounds this season. Tucking in behind was 'Shadowcat28', also having played two rounds and coming in to that second place with 25 points. Last week’s leader 'Fish-_Marius' could only pick up the one point available for taking part and dropped to third with 22 points, and equal with him on third was 'moniker'. 'bra boy84' sat out the round but still sits pretty with 20 points, being joined in the same fifth position by Peruvian 'Dearr99'.
Once again, the next tournament is ready and waiting for players, with registration now open for Sunday’s game and a start time of EST 1400. If you’re not in, you’re not going to win.
