The World Poker Tour Season 1 has a total of 11 tour events with all winners of such events getting their entry seat to the $25,000 WPT Championship at The Bellagio April 2003.

The WPT also included a special invitational where they give away $250,000 in this total freeroll to those elite that are honored to be invited to play.
