At around 6.30am PST this morning Joe defeated Steve Dannenmann heads up to lift the richest prize in sporting history ($7,500,000). Mon, Jul 4 2005 at 12:00 PM Jon Heneghan from Safety Harbor, FL picked up a cool $611,015 for his win in event # 37 ($1,000 No Limit Holdem with Rebuys). Jon won his first WSOP bracelet along with the huge payout.
Sun, Jul 3 2005 at 12:00 PM Todd Witteles won event 36 tonight at the WSOP. He scooped the $3,000 buyin Limit Holdem event and pocketed $347,385. This was Todd's 2nd cash this year at the WSOP.
Sat, Jul 2 2005 at 2:00 PM Rafi Amit from Israel won event 35 last night with a near perfect performance. Rafi bested 165 of the worlds best poker players in the $10,000 buyin Pot Limit Omaha to win the bracelet and $511,835. Vinnie Vinh finished second for $282,280
Sat, Jul 2 2005 at 12:00 PM Paul McKinney won event 34 tonight at the WSOP. Paul won the seniors event which earned him $202,725 and a WSOP gold bracelet.

Mon, Jun 27 2005 at 12:00 PM Dan Schmiech won event #28 tonight. The $5,000 buyin Limit Holdem event came down to Dan and Gabe Kaplan ( Welcome Back Kotter ). In the end Dan took the title, the $404,585 and his first WSOP gold bracelet.
