| "The Seniors" World Championship of Poker
"The Seniors" World Championship of Poker (WCOP) has made an arrangement
with Binions (WSOP) to hold the "Oklahoma Johnny" Hale's "The Seniors" World
Championship (WCOP/WSOP). The Inaugural event will be On May 7th 2001 at 2:00
P.M. in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada and the finals will be on May the
8th.
The Player may be male or female but must have been born on or before
May 7th,l951 The game will be No-Limit Holdem Buy in will be #1,000.00
Plus $75.00 The winner of The OK-J Inaugural "The Seniors" World
Championship will receive the (WCOP/WSOP) Bracelet plus the WCOP
Jacket.
There will be a permament Trophy that will remain at Binions for all
to see. They will not get to take it home, but their name will forever be
placed on it. Inside this event there a poker club event a Plaque will
be awarded to the club who participates in "The Senior" Poker club promotion
and the club member that finishes the highest will receive a "The Seniors"
Plaque for the Senior Championship club of the Year and a special Inaugural
(WCOP/WSOP)Jacket for the player. All clubs who wish to send their best No
Limit Senior to the Event should contact O.K.Johnny or Binions for details.
There will be a book signing of O.K.Johnny's best selling book "The
Gentleman Gambler" which is in its Second reprinting At 1:00 P.M. one hour
before "The Ok-J inaugural "The Seniors" (WCOP/WSOP) which will begin at
approx 2:00 P.M. after the opening ceremonies. It will be a Poker
happening. Its the First and last Event ever named after a Poker
player in the (WSOP).
I am very proud of this I have had the out of town trials of the Seniors and
now I am bring it to the Biggest
of them all the (WSOP) at Binions Horseshoe in Downtown Las Vegas.
