THE THIRD ANNUAL JACK BINION WORLD POKER OPEN

(TUNICA, Mississippi; June 20, 2001.) - Horseshoe Casino & Hotel and Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi will be hosting the Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open January 5, 2002 through January 25, 2002. Returning for their 3rd year will be Jim Albrecht as Tournament Director and Jack McClelland as Tournament Coordinator.

"We have a great team and I'm very pleased the team will remain intact for our third tournament," said Ken Lambert, Jr., Horseshoe Poker Room Manager. "We still have some details to work out over the next few weeks. The response to the first two tournaments was overwhelmingly positive, but we have again listened to the players and will make positive changes. With the January period, we will be able to enhance several facets of the tournament and will continue all the favorable traditions associated with a Jack Binion tournament."
