PSO Live TourPSO Live Tour Rules and Regulations

PokerSchoolOnline offers its students the very best of learning opportunities and to support and encourage members to play in the big live events, PSO created the PSO Live Tour in 2004. Due to the success of the tour, this competition will be around for many years to come. Below are the Rules & Regulations for the PSO Live Tour.

Description

  1. In order to play in any of the PSO Live Tour Invitational tournaments, the member must have been an active member for the period of one calendar month minimum prior to the PSO Live Tour Invitational the member wishes to play.

  2. There will be a minimum of 15 events ( with possibility of more events being added in 2005) PSO Live Tour Invitational tournaments held in designated brick and mortar casinos. These tournaments are distributed over the Continental United States with the exception of one held in Europe and one held aboard a cruise ship. Number of Tournaments subject to change at the discretion of PokerSchoolOnline management.

  3. The highest placing member who has pre-registered (see registration in (ll) Procedures (1) with PSO Team Leader - (PokerSchoolOnline business manager or an assigned PSO Team Member) in each tournament will be awarded 250 sponsorship points and a seat in the Grand Final in January 2006.

  4. There will be 3 PSO Live Tour Invitational tournaments held on PokerSchoolOnline as part of The Big One 5 (1)Spring, (2)Summer and (3)Winter promotions in the PSO card rooms.

    1. The weekend following each of the 3 Big One 5 Tournaments, the top 10 from that Big One 5 tournament will then play one another in a Final Tournament.

    2. The top 4 from each of the Final Tournaments will be awarded a seat in the Grand Final in January 2006

  5. At the end of the PSO Live Tour 2006, there will be a maximum of 50 players to compete in the Grand Tour Live Final (12 from PSO Big One 5 and others from Live PSO Invitationals at various casinos locations). Number of Tournaments subject to change at the discretion of PokerSchoolOnline management.

  6. The top 3 winners of The Grand LIVE TOUR Final will receive in order of finish:

    1. 1st Place = $25,000 Sponsorship
      to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events

    2. 2nd Place = $15,000 Sponsorship
      to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events

    3. 3rd Place = $10,000 Sponsorship
      to World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker Events

  7. SP = Sponsorship Points and when a school member has collected at least 500 SP (+ entry fee amount), PokerSchoolOnline.com has agreed to convert the SP and sponsor the player in buy-in poker tournaments of at least $500 (+ entry fee) at any brick and mortar casino in the world.

  8. PSO members may play in as many PSO Live Tour Invitational events or PSO online events as they wish.

  9. By placing highest in more than one PSO Invitational event, the member will receive 250 SP for each event in which the member placed highest.

  10. A member may receive only one entry into the Grand Live Tour Final. In the event of a member winning 2 or more seats in the Live Tour Grand Final, the maximum players in the Live Tour Grand Final will be reduced by the amount of duplicate seats won.

  11. No member may transfer dates or events, or arrange a substitute player for their qualification to the Grand Final Event. If the member cannot participate at the Grand Final they forfeit their seat. Once again, Qualifications will be non-transferable. Valid ID (matching the registration on our database) will be required prior to any PokerSchool Online sponsorships being awarded.

II. PROCEDURES

  1. PSO INVITATIONALS - YOU MUST PRE- REGISTER WITH THE PSO REPRESENTATIVE TO QUALIFY:

    1. Each PSO member who wishes their entry to count in a PSO Invitational event, on the PSO Live Tour 2005-2006 must check in and pre-register with the PSO representative at every PSO Live Tour 2005-2006 location prior to the commencement of the event.

    2. The PSO representative will be at a stand with PSO merchandise and promotional material and will furnish each member with a token when registering. The PSO representative will be at this stand for 2 hours prior to the commencement of the tournament.

    3. Details about the representative will be posted in advance in the PSO Live Tour 2005 - 2006 forum, under each PSO Invitational listed. Please use this forum as a way to communicate any questions you might have prior to the event and/or to arrange to meet fellow members at the Invitational.

  2. ALL PSO MEMBERS MUST REPORT RESULTS TO THE PSO REPRESENTATIVE IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE GRAND FINAL SEAT

    1. Upon completion of the tournament, the PSO member is required to bring the token back to the representative and report his or her position in the tournament.

    2. If the PSO member does not return the token to the representative, his or her play will be considered null and void.

  3. MEMBERS REPRESENT PSO

    1. You will also collect your free PSO cap from the PSO representative. All PSO members agree to represent PSO in all PSO Live Tour events by displaying the merchandise given them whether it is a hat, t-shirt, card protector, pin or all of the above.

    2. PSO members agree not to display any other online site's logo gear, as they are participating as a PSO member.

    3. We hope that as PSO members, your conduct under pressure remains exemplary and befitting that of PSO.

  4. PUBLICITY: All PSO members participating in the PSO Live Tour 2005 - 2006 agree to be interviewed and/or photographed by PokerPages or PokerSchoolOnline and have their interview and/or photograph published on either website.

    If asked to be interviewed/photographed by another site, you agree to ask the PSO representative about being interviewed/photographed first.

III Disputes

  1. PSO reserves the right to make a final decision in any dispute.

  2. If two or more members are eliminated at the same time, and receive the same rating, those members will play in a PokerSchoolOnline.com tournament to determine the single winner.

  3. If two or more PSO members find themselves on a final table, and deal making is being discussed, PSO will not accept the transferring of the seat to the Live Tour Grand Final unless both PSO members sign a document to say they are fully agreed as to the ownership of the seat, which might have no bearing on which one place higher in the tournament in question.

  4. If there is no signed agreement by all PSO members at the final table, PSO will recognize the PSO member who places highest in the tournament as the winner.

  5. Any and all agreements made outside of these parameters will not be recognized or considered valid.
