The PSO convention includes a seminar, special tournaments and other get-togethers arranged by PSO Members. These conventions are a great opportunity for beginners to get their feet wet in an actual casino guided by both instructors and seasoned members. More experienced members also regularly enter the WPO tournaments held there using the sponsorship points they've won here. The PSO Convention is something that every member should try to attend at least once.

PSO Convention Schedule 2007

Welcome to this year’s PSO Convention, hosted by the Orleans Hotel and Casino in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada:

May 29th 8pm
Social Gathering/Mixer - In the Orleans Hotel Pub (Brendan's Irish Pub) Member goodie bags and lanyards/name tags will be available.
May 30th in Salon (Upstairs Banquet Room - Salon J)
8:15 - 9:30 am	Arrival of PSO members (coffee, juice, tea, water, pastries)
9:30 - 10:00 am	Opening Remarks by Host from Mark and Tina
10:00 - 11:30 am	Speaker Tom McEvoy and Dana Smith (The Good Ol' Days of Tournament Poker)
11:30 - 11:45 am	Break
11:45 - 13:00 pm	Speaker Mark Seif ("Reading Your Opponents")
13:00 - 14:30 pm	Lunch (deli lunch served)
14:30 - 19:00 pm	PSO Championship (Poker Room - downstairs)
Remainder of evening: Orleans Poker room will run PSO sit n go’s and private ring tables upon request.
May 31st
07:30 am arrival for the PSO Grand Final which starts at 8am. Tournament Director Al Spath, will cover payouts, rules, answer questions, prior to 8am starting time. Event will last approx 5 hours +. Convention reconvenes upstairs in Salon (Salon J) with refreshments - (coffee, tea, soda, water, etc.)
