Video Training Table Info:

  • Game: LIMIT Bankroll Building @ Low Limits (Part 5)
  • Type: Cash Game (Ring)
  • Instructor: Al Spath
  • Duration: 00:26:32

The instructor will start with a predetermined bankroll of $100 and play a series of sessions at a .50/$1 LIMIT cash table (low limit hold'em) and demonstrate how to build a bankroll, step by step.

The goal of each session is to play approximately 30/35 minutes (sometimes a bit less), and sit with $20 (1/5 of the starting bankroll) and try to increase the bankroll each session, with the idea of increasing our bankroll by $5-$10 (as a goal) as our focus. The first session netted only a faction of the profit expected or sought.

Should you lose at these levels, try not to magnify any bad sessions by playing wildly or to become frustrated. Limit your losses and come back when you are in control of your game, your emotions, and your entire focus on the game at hand (and not thoughts of the previous bad experience).

In the event you are feeling over-matched or it's not going as planned, maybe drop down to the .25/.50 LIMIT tables and begin your climb once more and regain your confidence. Remember, at the lower limits players play recklessly and play to many hands.
