ChrisAlexander's Bio
I began playing online poker approximately 6 years ago and really got interested in it 4 years ago when Pokerpages.com was having a series of qualifying Freeroll tournaments that eventually paid for a seat in the World Series of Poker. Since that time I have spent countless hours online playing, propping, and teaching.
I have worked alongside Al Spath, offering private tution to a poker discussion forum. It was here and with further mentoring by Al Spath that I turned what was a semi-profitable hobby into my livelihood, also while taking on the added challenge to work with new players as they seek development of their skills.
I have played semi-professionally as a prop on several sites on the internet. A "prop player" is a player that is paid by the site to play on their site (with their own money, not house money) and help start tables and keep dying tables playing. I play limits from 1/2 to 5/10 and 1/2 NL and play at least 8,000-10,000 hands a week.
I have taught many new players but I am most proud of my instruction to my wife who now is also a semi-professional online poker player.
I am really excited and passionate about teaching the game of poker and ensuring players that I work with have the basics down and are clear what "solid tight/aggressive" play is at any limit.
