Notes: Commerce Casino?s annual L.A. Poker Classic, which takes center stage at Commerce Casino from January 29- February 24, is expected to reflect record attendance figures, prize money, and side games, not to mention World Poker Tour excitement. In fact, the L.A. Poker Classic?s $10,000 No Limit Hold?em Championship final table will be played before WPT cameras and a live audience on February 24 at 5:30pm. What?s more, the 2004 WPT Celebrity Invitational will also be filmed at Commerce Casino on February 25-26. Both events will air on the Travel Channel at a later date. Scheduled for January 29 ? February 24, Commerce Casino?s 2004 L.A. Poker Classic features two $1-million guaranteed events.

No limit hold?em enthusiasts will note that Commerce Casino is currently hosting a series of special satellites that ultimately place winning players in a free seat at the L.A. Poker Classic/WPT $1 million guaranteed $10,000 No Limit Hold?em Championship event. The first phase of the satellite tier begins with $120 buy-in one-table satellites every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 11:00am, 2:00pm, 5:00pm, & 8:00pm. Next, each winner of a $120 satellite receives an entry into a $1,060 satellite, which will run from January 29 ? February 20 at 9:00pm. Finally, winners of the $1,060 satellites receive a free entry into the $10,000 buy-in World Poker Tour No Limit Hold?em Championship event, which gets underway February 21.

In addition to the no limit hold?em action associated with the WPT and L.A. Poker Classic, Commerce Casino features no limit hold?em tournaments with a $300 +30 buy-in and one optional $300 rebuy every Sunday at 5:00pm.
