The 5,000 no-limit hold'em freeze-out, the championship event of this year's Master Classics has attracted no less than 187 entrants for a total prize pool of almost 1,000,000 Euros – with EUR 45,000 worth of prize money added by the house. Every player has started with 10,000 in chips, and if my information is correct, there are now six players with over 50,000 in chips, including big gunners like Keith Hawkins and Peter Roche.
