Tournament Report
Khenh, (Kenny) can hardly wait, just 12 more hours until the next tournament starts. A virtual dynamo, Kenny has landed at the final table 4 days in a row. Kenny had reservations about entering today's high/low stud event because he feels this is a relatively new game for him. Special thanks go to his good friend Phil Ivy who offered the encouragement which prompted Kenny to play. (Phil, your check is in the mail. Poise, patience and versatility are contributing factors into the maturing process of Kenny's tournament play. Tournament poker has become part of Kenny's repertoire just this year. You've come a long way baby !
A virgin experience for Farzad (Freddie)as he finished 2nd in his first tournament ever, and it happened here at the Trump Taj Mahal, USPC. Freddie may you always remember this day.
Freddie said that he felt strong all morning and that he was determined to go all the way to the final table. Freddie expressed how elated he was to finish 2nd in this event, "Way to persevere"
$8800 was the 3rd place for Chris,(from Syracuse). Chris also made it to the final table for the $500 Stud event. He will now be able to don a new wardrobe of warm up suits for the upcoming year. Chris, you wear them well.
Due to the length of their names, and/or the combination of unpronounceable consonants, the 3 players have been given nicknames in order that we may refer to each of them in a timely manner.
This was the 6th of 17 tournament events that will take place over a consectutive 19 day period.
We wish a pleasant experience and good luck to all players. |
