Tournament Report
| It was Ed's up at the final table, a serious battle was going on for ownership of the commemorative watch. What kind of watch? ...Movado, what's it worth? ...all the pride you can muster up.
Ed Corrado, a retired contractor, migrated from the windy city of Chicago to Naples, Florida where he now resides. He was eager to win this watch, and he earned it, as he took the final chips from the 'twin', to win his 2nd tournament ever. Wear it proudly, Ed and tell 'em where ya got it... the USPC at the Trump Taj Mahal.
Pride befell Flip, the mentor of the Fishman twins, as Eddie took the 2nd place finish in today's Limit Hold 'em event. Out came the baby photos of the 31 year old and his twin brother, Michael, who are both professional poker players at the 'Taj.' Flip, you're the wind beneath their wings.
Fluent in English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Thai, Omaha and Hold 'em. Charlie Brahmi took the 3rd place finish in today's event.
Besides being a successful businessman, Charlie's poker accomplishments include a 2nd place finish in the Omaha event at Foxwood's and 3rd in the Limit Hold 'em at Tunica. Just this year at the World Series, Charlie finished 4 times in the money. 13th in the Omaha High/Low event, 11th in Omaha, 6th in Omaha, and the piece de resistance, with a world record number of entries (609), Charlie won the Limit Hole 'em event, which paid $338,000, and he sports the gold bracelet which says so.
