Today's Omaha High/Low event winner began playing poker professionally about 10 years ago and entered the tournament circuit in 1995.

Mom and Dad (MG & BG) also poker players, watched on in support of their son, Jeff Madden, who finished 2nd in today's Omaha High/Low Split event.
Jeff, employed by an architectural firm in Buffalo, drives 8 hours to the Taj, to play poker on a recreational basis. Having only played Omaha High/Low Split about 6 times, makes this a herculean win over 85 entrants. Take that back to the boardroom.
About 20 years ago, the New Yorker Magazine published an article on the World Series of Poker. Fortunately, Julien Studley read this article, which inspired him to venture off to Las Vegas for about 10 days, to see first hand what the World Series was all about. The rest is History.....
