Tournament Report

Tonight we have a really big show....Let's welcome the British Invasion! Surrounded by friends, Hamish Shah topped the charts in his No Limit Hold 'em event, which he didn't even plan to enter.

A stock broker for London, England, Hemish arrived just a few days ago from the Champs Elysee. This jet setter travels a great deal and has sampled poker in many of the great cosmopolitan cities.

Today was a good warm-up for tomorrow's headliner event, Championship No Limit Hold'em, as the curtain goes up at 4.00pm.

Listen, do you wanna know a secret....Hemish will be an entrant in the championship event.

Young Van Phan, and the restless feeling he got became stronger as the final table dwindled down. Though he placed 2nd in today's event, he felt as though he was playing Omaha.

Underdog hands were taking pots, like he'd never seen before. So stay tuned for the next episodes of 'How the flop falls'

Happy Birthday, in memory of Frank Sinatra. Dan Negreanu did it his way! The 3rd place finisher in today's event , and last year's No Limit Hold 'em Champion is here to defend his title. Yes, it was a very good year. Start spreadin' the news...Dan is back!

Tis the night before Hold 'em
And what do we see
But a room full of players
All longing to be...

The No Limit Champion
To be crowned in 3 days,
How will it happen
Bluff, check and raise.

The goal is a great one
The field stong and vast
The best in the world
Have gathered at last.

Here at the 'Taj'
To play their best game,
To make that final table,
For the money and fame.

The tournament is closing,
We're all anxious to see
Who the next USPC
No Limit Hold 'em
Champion will be.

Go get'em players, we wish you all well !!
