New England Poker Classic

The $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship Event of the 2005 New England Poker Classic attracted 387 participants to Foxwoods Resort Casino. At the end of the first day, there were 43 players remaining of the 193 who started the day. Play was concluded after the 8th round and the 43 survivors will return on Sunday along with Saturday's qualifiers. The charts on page 2 list the day one qualifiers, their chip counts and assigned tables for day 3 of the competition. The empty seats will be filled after day 2.
