Borgata announces winners of the Ultimate Super Satellite Poker Tournament
419 Players Competed for the Ultimate Package: a $60,000 Prize Purse and Seats in Four Major Poker Competitions
Atlantic City, New Jersey - March 21, 2006 - Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announces the results from the March 19, 2006 Ultimate Super Satellite Poker Tournament, which offered players a prize package without precedent in the poker world: the Ultimate Package. A poker player's dream, the Ultimate Package consists of a seat in four of the most prestigious poker competitions plus $4,500 in travel expenses.
The one-day poker tournament, held at Borgata, included 419 poker pros and regional poker fanatics who competed in a No-Limit Texas Hold'em poker tournament for a chance to win the Ultimate Package: a $60,000 prize purse and a seat in the following major competitions:
· $25,500 entry into the WPT Championship at Bellagio in Las Vegas, April 18-24, 2006
· $10,000 entry into the WPT Foxwoods Poker Classic at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, April 6-9, 2006
· $10,000 entry into the WPT Borgata Poker Open at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, September 15-18, 2006
· $10,000 entry into the World Series of Poker Main Event at Rio in Las Vegas, July 28-August 10, 2006
After an exciting competition, six skilled poker players rose above the rest and took home the Ultimate Package, winning seats in the above four tournaments as well as $4,500 in cash to cover hotel and travel expenses associated with the competitions:
