Youth Takes Limit Hold'em at OK State Poker Championship

Tulsa, OK - Twenty-one year old Brad Tisdale outlasted 226 other players to capture the $300+30 Limit Hold'em event in the 2007 'Oklahoma State Championship of Poker' at the Cherokee Casino Saturday, February 3rd.

Tisdale arrived at the Final Table with a small chip lead over several other players. Through the ebb ‘n tide of the action over 3 hours he fell behind, but in the end the young man walked off with 1st Place, $20,342, and the handsome Championship ring.

'This has been a real unique, peak experience,' Tisdale said, still a little disbelieving of his victory. He added, 'I got some good cards at the right times against some very tough players.'

It was the third day and third event in the 'Oklahoma State Poker Championships' which started February 1 and continues through the 13th.
