Debbie Burkhead Knock'em Dead at 'Spring Poker Tournament'
Reno, NV - Debbie Burkhead has all but taken over the 'Spring Poker Tournament' at the Peppermill Hotel/Casino. In a field of 132 players, she emerged with the 1st Place trophy and $9,095 in prize money.
But that is only part of her accomplishment. The night before, she took 2nd Place in the Omaha Hi/Lo event for $8,565. AND, the night before that, she won the H.O.R.S.E. event for $4,955. In three days she's logged a 1st, a 2nd, and another 1st!
Debbie Burkhead, columnist and representative in Las Vegas for POKER PLAYER, is a skillful and talented poker player. Her versatility and success are clear evidence.
